Cornwall Ontario – The drivers bonus program is back for a third year in a row at Cornwall Motor Speedway and 2017 should be a continued success with more than $17,000 in prizes and money on the line for the drivers.

What to do if Red Notice is issued against you?

Many new sponsors have joined for 2017 as the program will concentrate a big portion towards perfect attendance. “Our first goal with this program is to give back to race teams that support us on a weekly basis and over 80% of the program value goes towards this portion!” mentioned Martin Belanger, Public Relations Director at the speedway. More than $13,000 will be given to the drivers who will attend all events in their respective class as the draws will be done on Sunday, September 3, 2017.

The other part of the program will be driven via the halfway bonus award in every division. The Modified drivers will collect extra points at mid-point on of every regular event with points given to the top 5 going with a 5 to 1 point structure. Promoter Raymond Lavergne decided to add a little of money to the first 3 runners at that point. VP Race Fuels is joining in, this season with gift certificates in Modified, Pro-Stock and Novice Sportsman. Total Race Supply is back with sponsoring the Sportsman halfway bonus. For the Mini-Stock, the bonus will be similar to the Modified with drivers collecting points at halfway and the drivers who collects the most will receive a 2018 season pass, this extra point structure will only count towards the season pass and not the track championship.

Drivers and fans will be able to track the evolution of the bonus program via the bonus section on the website along with weekly updates on our Facebook page as well starting in May.

Cornwall Motor Speedway would like to thank to the following sponsors who are part of the 2017 program: Seaway Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, Leaf Racewear, Hoosier Tire, Twenty Two Graphix, Action Race Parts, Qualitek, Trick Race Parts Kirkey Racing Fabrication, Herrington Graphics, Atomic Designs, AT Racing Shocks, VP Race Fuels et Total Race Supply.
