Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Colts winning streak is at 7 after a convincing 4-1 victory over Smiths Falls at the Ed Lumley Arena Thursday night.

Dean Derouchie had a goal (16) and two assists as the Colts record improved to 35-13-2-3 (75pts) and move into a tie for 2nd overall in the CCHL with the Ottawa Jr Senators.

Tanner Spink (18), Keegan Mulhearn (7) and Tristan Conrad (5) also scored for the Colts as they outshot the Bears 41-26.

Liam Lascelle made 25 saves for his 25th victory of the season.

The Wendy’s Restaurant Three Stars are First Star Dean Derouchie (COR), Second Star Noah Konink (COR) and Third Star Nicholas Coates (SF).

The Colts look to extend their winning streak with a game in Kemptville vs 73’s Friday night. Game time is 7:30pm at the Kemptville Arena.

Cornwall returns home for their annual Family Day matinee game vs the Hawkesbury Hawks. Game time is 3pm at Ed Lumley Arena. Colts star Konnor MacCormick will be signing autographs following the game Monday afternoon.
