Cornwall Ontario – A late 3rd period goal was too little too late for the Cornwall Colts as they dropped a 4-3 decision in Ottawa against the Jr. Senators Wednesday night.

The victory means the Jr. Sens sweep the CCHL semi-final and await the winner of the Carleton Place vs Kemptville semi-final. The 73’s lead that series 2-1 with game 4 Thursday night in Kemptville.

Sebastian Dirven had two goals for the Colts with David Poirier also scoring.

Isaac Anderson, Nicolas Samson, Zachary Cross and Luke McCaw scored for Ottawa.

The Jr Sens outshot the Colts 39-32.

Next for the Colts front office will be the CCHL draft (Monday, April 10th) and focusing on season tickets for the 2017-18 season and securing community partnerships.
