Cornwall, ON—The Seaway Food Festival announced today that Ontarioeast has signed on as the title sponsor of Summer Beer Fest, held at Lamoureux Park on June 24, 2017.

As part of the partnership, Ontarioeast will provide free Wi-Fi at the Summer Beer Fest grounds during the event. This broad-ranging connectivity is a first for an event in Lamoureux Park.

“I’m proud to welcome Ontarioeast as our title sponsor,” said Sebastien “Mani” Manigat, Founder & Director of Seaway Food Festival. “Ontarioeast is an exceptional company and community supporter. With this relationship, we are one step closer to achieving the cool and connected event our community has asked for. Making Wi-Fi available during Summer Beer Fest helps us achieve our goal of enhancing the guest experience.”

“We are very excited to be a part of Summer Beer Fest, which has quickly become one of Cornwall’s ‘can’t miss’ events,” said Timothy J W Beach, Vice-President of Operations at Ontarioeast.  We look forward to working with Mani and his team at Summer Beer Fest to deliver an amazing day for Cornwall.”

At the turn of the millennium, Ontarioeast was among the first companies in the industry to bring high-speed internet services to Eastern ontario. Headquartered in Cornwall, ON, it currently offers cutting-edge technology such as Fibre to home and business, Broadband cable, and Fibre-to-the-Curb technologies to residences and business across this region. The company has focused on providing high-quality carrier-grade Wi-Fi in public venues in Cornwall and SD&G including the Civic Complex, Aquatic Centre, Benson Centre and Lamoureux Park.
