St. Lawrence College (SLC) has confirmed that its winter 2021 semester program delivery will continue as it started in the fall, which is a mix of alternate delivery and in-person classes. Priority for on-campus delivery will be health sciences programs and programs involving applied components such as labs and other hands-on simulations. More details can be found here.
“Our faculty and support staff teams have been working hard this fall to meet our students’ needs for quality program delivery and access to the supports they need,” according to SLC President and CEO, Glenn Vollebregt. “I’m proud of the work they’ve been doing in ensuring our students have everything they need to succeed in an alternate delivery format.”
For students and employees who are required to be on campus for in-person delivery, SLC has public health measures in place to ensure everyone can maintain physical distancing with signage throughout campus, has the PPE required, and that campuses remain safe. Anyone accessing campus must also complete detailed health and safety training.
“While we all want to be back on campus and in the classroom, our number one priority is the health and safety of our students, employees, and our communities,” Vollebregt said. “We remain committed to providing a learning experience that equips every student to succeed, whether that is virtually, or in-person.”
