The Golf Tournament has become a beloved tradition in Cornwall and District, as it offers a chance for the community to rally behind BBBS and its mission. The event serves as a major fundraiser, with all funds raised directed towards supporting the programs and initiatives that provide invaluable guidance and support to the children in their care.

Dairy Queen Cornwall, a beloved local establishment renowned for its delicious treats and commitment to the community, proudly takes center stage as the title sponsor for the upcoming Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cornwall and District Golf Tournament. With their generous support, Dairy Queen Cornwall reaffirms their dedication to positively impacting the lives of children in need.

“Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cornwall and District provides services to children from a single-parent home and mentorship opportunities to help them reach their full potential. Year after year, our Golf Tournament gathers members of the community that want to support our organization and what we do for the children of our communities,” said Emily Colman, Fundraising Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall & District

“The funds that will be raised through our major events go directly towards the programs that support our Littles we serve. We are not government funded. Funding for our programs and services mainly comes from events/ fundraising. As an organization, we are very grateful for an amazing big-hearted community,” Colman went on.

The annual Golf Tournament has gained a reputation for being a fun-filled day of friendly competition, fostering camaraderie among participants while simultaneously making a positive impact on the lives of local children. Attendees can look forward to an exciting day on the green, complete with challenging holes, delightful refreshments, and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals who share a common passion for supporting youth in the community.
