The streets of Cornwall came alive with festive cheer yesterday as the annual Santa Claus Parade rolled through town. Families and friends gathered along the parade route to witness the enchanting spectacle, and this year’s event did not disappoint. With colorful floats, lively music, and the jolly old man himself, Santa Claus, the parade truly captured the magic of the holiday season.

As the twinkling lights and merry melodies filled the air, the judges had the challenging task of selecting the best entries from various categories. After much deliberation, the winners of the 2023 Santa Claus Parade have been announced, and they are sure to put a smile on your face:

Industry Category: Walmart Logistics

Schools Category: Akwesasne Mohawk School

Small Float (Under 20 Feet) Category: Cornwall Gymnastics Club

Retail/Service Category: Fines Home Hardware and Building Centre (Balloon Babes)

Service/Non-Profit Category: Cornwall Lions

Local Bands Category: Cornwall Nativity Band

Dance Category: Powell School of Dance

Fitness Group Category: Cornwall BMX Club

Clown/Characters Category: Arianna Sarault

Congratulations to all the winners and participants who made this year’s Santa Claus Parade in Cornwall a resounding success. The creativity and holiday spirit displayed by each entry brought the community together in celebration, reminding us all of the true meaning of the season – joy, togetherness, and giving.
