If your scrolling session on Facebook or Instagram was abruptly interrupted by a logout, you’re in good company. Both of Meta’s flagship platforms are experiencing technical difficulties, presenting users with “failure to load” messages instead of their usual feeds.
And trying to reset your password is an exercise of futility.
As of 10:48 a.m., DownDetector has recorded over 75,946 reports of outages, affecting not only the web interfaces but also the mobile applications.
Meta’s spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on X: “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now.”
People quickly took to Twitter, and parody accounts seemed to be having fun with the Social Media Giant’s misfortune.
