United Counties to hold Science Fair Information Booth at Cornwall Square

Cornwall, Ontario — The United Counties Science Fair Organizing Committee is holding an Information Day booth at the Cornwall Square, Saturday January 28th from 10am to 2pm. Committee members and volunteers will be there to answer any questions students and parents may have concerning the upcoming United Counties Science Fair scheduled for Saturday April 1st, 2017 at St. Lawrence Secondary School.

This year marks the 42nd anniversary of the United Counties Science Fair which is a non-profit charitable organization run by a team of volunteer teachers and parents. The organization’s goals are to encourage students to explore some of the many fields of science and to help students develop creative critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills. The Science Fair is open to students from all of the primary and secondary schools in the three United Counties and Akwesasne.
