Tangolunda Bay is a very popular destination due to its five beautiful beaches scattered along the coast. Most of the hotels in the area are located here, in addition to offering some essential services for visitors. It is also important to mention that Tangolunda Bay features an attractive golf course.

How to Get to Tangolunda Bay?

You can reach Tangolunda Bay in two ways: by sea or by road. If you are in the centre of La Crucecita, head towards Chahué Bay via Chahué Boulevard. Then, take Benito Juárez Boulevard, which will lead you directly to Conejos Bay and from there to Tangolunda.

When to Visit Tangolunda Bay

Tangolunda Bay is a charming place to visit at any time of the year. During the winter, it attracts many visitors, as do the weeks before and after Easter, which are quite busy. Despite this, the bay is not usually too crowded, especially if you compare it to other popular tourist destinations in Mexico that tend to be more saturated.

Beaches That Make Up Tangolunda Bay

Tangolunda Bay is famous for its beaches, each with its own charm and personality. Here’s a tour of these coastal wonders that make Tangolunda such a special destination.

El Secreto Beach: As its name suggests, El Secreto Beach is a hidden gem among the others. Less known and therefore less crowded, this beach is ideal for those seeking a tranquil refuge away from the crowds. Its calm and clear waters are perfect for swimming and relaxing in complete peace.

Ventura Beach: Is more active and is a meeting point for water sports enthusiasts. Here, the wind is often the main attraction, ideal for those who enjoy windsurfing or kitesurfing. Additionally, its extensive sandy areas allow for sunbathing and enjoying the beach without feeling crowded.

Manzanillo Beach: This small yet charming beach is known for its crystal-clear waters and family-friendly atmosphere. Manzanillo Beach is the perfect place for those travelling with children, as the waters are shallow and calm. Here, families can enjoy a day of picnicking or building sandcastles.

Tornillo Beach: Is unique for its curved shape and gentle waves. It’s a beach that invites long walks at sunset or simply sitting and watching the horizon. Its relaxed atmosphere is ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy the sound of the sea.

Tangolunda Beach: This is the most well-known beach in the bay and shares its name. Tangolunda Beach is wide and offers a variety of tourist services, from jet ski rentals to designated sunbathing areas. Its natural beauty is complemented by the convenience of having everything at hand.

Rincón Sabroso Beach: Stands out for its vibrant atmosphere and culinary offerings. Visitors can savour delicious fresh seafood dishes at the beachfront restaurants. It is the ideal place for those who want to combine the pleasure of good food with the beauty of a natural setting.
