December Update

Hi, everyone, welcome to our 10th edition of local spins from Buds Records And Kool Things.

Wow Bud’s Records is officially downtown Cornwall! We are now located at 108 Pitt Street.

Thank you everybody who turned out for our grand re-opening on November 30th – we had an amazing turn out! Lots of people came to see the new spot and to take advantage of the awesome sale we had. It was great to see everybody come out! Thank you all for the compliments about the new shop, it’s definitely a great spot and a good thing for Cornwall for us to be here. A huge thank you to Fairy Sweet for the generous cupcakes! We and our customers appreciated it and enjoyed your delicious treats. What a nice gesture welcoming us to the neighborhood!

If you haven’t already, try out their treats! Emily and I get them weekly. Also a big thank you to the Spicy Pearl for the nice free delicious food. It was amazing to be welcomed like this to the neighborhood.

Another big shout out to The Kebab King for the free going away food. We’ll definitely miss having the King and friends as neighbors.
I also wanted to talk about our first Laserdisc Movie Night that we hosted at The Port Theatre on November 15th. What a success it was! What a great turnout out to see Terminator 1 on the big screen. What an experience it was to see and hear it in Mono sound. We’ll be hosting another Laserdisc Movie Night at the Port Theatre in the New Year. Thank you to The Port Theatre for having us! We would like to take a minute to thank everybody that helped us out during our move. First, a huge thank you to Emily’s parents for helping us financially during these costly times. We couldn’t have done it without you Brenda and Mike. Also a big thank you to my Dad and Clay for helping us move stuff and Dad for the generous Home Depot gift cards! They were really appreciated and put to good use. Med, thanks for helping out assembling the bins, that really helped a lot! last but not least a huge thank you to Mitch King for helping us set up and organize the shop and designing the bins. You were a massive help.
