The 5th Annual Leon’s Wing It For Kids Sake in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters will be bigger than ever!


The event, scheduled for Friday, May 24th at the Knights of Columbus in Cornwall will have no less than 9 local restaurants participating. Each restaurant will be providing a signature wing sauce to be voted on by the more than 300 people expected to attend this fun event.

For their $25 ticket, each person will receive a dozen wings, an order of French fries and a DQ dessert!
Leon’s Furniture has stepped up to be title sponsor for this year’s event. “We’re pleased to have such a wonderful community partner as Leon’s Furniture supporting one of our signature events,” said BBBS Executive Director Ron Graham.

Other sponsors include DQ Grill and Chill, Benson Certified Auto Service as well as BOOM 101.9 & FRESH 104.5 as well as RBC!

Participating restaurants include the reigning champion Smokin’ Bull (Alexandria) as well as ESCA Gourmet Pizza & Bar (Cornwall), Jet Set Pub (Cornwall), Maggie’s Bar–B-Q (Alexandria), O’Neill’s Pub (Long Sault), Sheep’s Head Bistro(Glen Walter), Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill (Cornwall), Schnitzel’s European Flavours (Cornwall) and Sticks Sports Bar & Grill (Akwesasne Mohawk Casino).

The ever popular Twisted Kilt band will be providing musical entertainment during the evening to compliment the fun atmosphere.
