Committee members will be on site with updates.
Pictured here are project team members Sharon Porter and Don Smith, visiting retired CGH School of Nursing administrative assistant Hilda Seguin.  Hilda is one of several members of the community who were recently video interviewed in order to bring congratulations at the upcoming CGH nursing alumni reunion of the final graduating class in honour of their 50th anniversary.  Some of the memories shared by the interviewees will also appear in an upcoming special feature on YourTV Cornwall.

Historic Cornwall Area Dairies – Book Launch
Since at least 2017, Society staff have been collaborating with milk bottle collector and enthusiast Gary Sauve by providing access to various images including photos and ads, editing services and now publishing and distribution of his brand-new, limited edition book dealing with historic Cornwall and area dairies.

The Cornwall Milk Bottle Book:  A Collector’s Guide to Dairies of Cornwall & Surrounding Area (1900-1965) with Rarity & Price Guide doubles as an illustrated history of about 20 dairies in and around Cornwall.  The book explores dairy locations, owners, bottles, caps, tokens and much more. The book is the first of its kind for our area and is chock full of great images on more than 160 pages, including 29 pages in full colour.  This first edition is a bargain at $25; during the 2019 Heritage Fair only, it can be purchased at a $5 saving – just $20 cash!
