Ribfest is adding something new this summer!

Calling all BBQ and Smokers Enthusiasts

“We’ve heard the comments and we’ve listened,” said Terry Muir, Ribfest Chairperson. “And we’re proud to announce that for the very first time, we are opening up a Backyard BBQ Competition.”

People have been requesting this for many years and it’s time to show that Cornwall can do ribs too! The new Competition will take place on Saturday July 27th from 7am to 5pm. The public is cordially invited to walk around the Competition Village and smell the wonderful aromas as 15 teams put on the performance of a lifetime.

Think you have the best ribs in town? Your chicken game is on point? Bring your Smoker, your BBQ Pit or whatever you use at home to show us what you can do! There will be a panel of judges and blind tasting. Your food will not be resold and we accept only amateur teams. Get a chance to win the trophies and prizes. Be part of our Competition Village!
